A key focus area for Saint-Gobain Research India is to support the businesses for developing solutions for hot-humid climates that are targeted towards commercial buildings and residential housing (urban and rural). In developing countries such as India, there exists a need for sustainable habitat solutions to address the challenges associated with a rapid increase in urbanization.

At SGRI, in addition to addressing themes pertaining to energy efficiency and multi-comfort, there is also an emphasis on innovating by developing combinatorial solutions. The innovations are aimed at improving process efficiency, addressing tool & skill deficit and getting closer to the customer.
