Senior/Research Engineer – Chemical - CTT

Objective of the Position

General Characteristics :

• Competent Involvement and dedication in undertaking short-term fairly routine specific tasks and projects
• Hands on experience and demonstrated knowledge in material characterization (desirable Crystallography, Structure – Property Correlation)
• Hands on Experience in at least two characterization techniques samples preparation, OM, XRF, Raman, CHNS, ICPOES, AAS, XRD or SEM is desirable.
• Knowledge in basic scientific or engineering principles and techniques

Dimension & Responsibility :

Direction of Others:

• The Incumbent may supervise work of Research Assistants during project assignments, and occasionally have 1-2 Research Assistants report to him/her.

Duties and Responsibilities :

• Tasks defined in nature and scope, entering areas of product development/improvement, production processes, and new knowledge research.
• Tasks are limited to one dimension of a medium project or to sub projects.

Education & Experience :

• Masters in Science/Engineering with 2 to 3 years in Material Science/Minerology/Metallurgy/Physics
