Research Engineer – Chemical Measurements

Objective of the Position

Chemical measurements competency supports all transversal businesses within SGRI and continues to be a key department providing regional support.  We are in need for a senior level person with materials science/metallurgical/polymer background with an aptitude for characterization and demonstrated knowledge in structure property correlation.

Candidates should have demonstrated experience in mechanical properties of materials, expertise in many of the following areas , DMA, TMA, UTM, Particle size, MOR etc

Skill & Knowledge

To provide guidance and train new employees at the same level or Technicians as required.

• Normally reports to a Research Engineer or Research Group Leader or equivalent. 
• Must function independently in development of new experimental procedures or standard operating procedures
• Understand the organization, programs and procedures related to organizational unit. 

Qualification: Ph.D with experience of 3-7 years in the relevant field.

Experience

Candidate should have demonstrated experience in mechanical properties of materials. Expertise in many of the following areas  DMA , TMA, BET, Particle size, Impact tester, MOR etc.
