    Research Engineer - Glass



    Objective of the Position

    Testing of product/raw materials and issuance of monthly reports
    Root-cause analysis of failure , R & D inputs on deviation from specifications and support to crisis needs
    Owns the overall outcome of routine and new test requirements

    Skill & Knowledge

    Skills associated with analytical background with 2 -3 years of experience in an analytical lab or R & D lab
    Experience with inorganic analysis and hands on with spectrophotometric characterization are desirable. Data collection, instrument control and test configurations are highly desirable
    The incumbent must be well organized , have the ability to communicate with staff, R & D and customers. Knowledge of personal computer systems and general-purpose software are desired.
    Should have good safety performance records

    Qualification :

    Bachelors in Mechanical/Chem Engg or M.Sc in chemistry/Physics with 2 + years of experience

    Technical :

    Desired technical expertise in one of the following ; optical measurements including color/instrumentation
