Patent Practice Associate

We are looking for a suitable candidate for the above mentioned position to join our Intellectual Property Law Department at SGRI, Chennai.

Job Description :

• Drafting patent specifications.
• Drafting and filing response to office actions in India and all other compliance requirements as per the applicable patent law.

Educational Background :

1. Bachelors or Masters degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or allied engineering branches with excellent academic track record from reputed academic institutions.

The candidate must fulfill the following requirements:

a) Total experience of >3 years in patent practice in India encompassing patent drafting, filing and prosecution
b) Registered Patent Agent in India.

Desirable but not mandatory :

1. Diploma/Degree in Intellectual Property
